Weekend bliss

I spent the weekend visiting one of my favourite places in the planet. And it was fantastic. I love having such a magical place to escape to. It was made better by the fact that my mom is visiting, and we got to spend lots of time with her family. And Aaron also got back this weekend, so I am extremely happy! Nova Scotia is so beautiful in the summer. I have many more photos to share throughout this week of this breathtaking province.

Weekend adventures

I got to spend some time with my lovely friend Renee this weekend. We went on a walk through Terence Bay Wilderness Area, then headed over to Crystal Crescent Beach for a swim. It was such a fantastic day!

Moons and sunsets

Last night was beautiful. I went to Herring Cove with Aaron's family to watch the full moon rise over the ocean. We stayed for hours, watching both the moon rise and the reflections dance across the sea. The moon was so bright, it was hard to believe it was nighttime. Nova Scotia was such an incredibly beautiful place to watch such an amazing moonrise.

Weekend getaway

We went away to the cottage for a night this weekend! It was so great to get out of the city and go to one of my favourite places in the world. Findlay came with us, and hung out for a long time on top of our antique wood stove, and it was adorable. We did a lot of work/planning for the wedding, and it was just so nice to see family and also to spend some time together, just Aaron and I, in such a special place
