Snow!

We woke up to a little bit of snow this morning! It's the time of year where this is exciting, so I'm very happy about it. Findlay is very interested by the snow as well... just as the last of his leaves have fallen off the tree, he has something else to watch!

Last Bits of Autumn

The last of the colourful leaves have been falling this week, and I have been decorating for Christmas, so I guess fall is officially coming to a close. Autumn in Nova Scotia is ridiculously beautiful. I wish it lasted longer, but I'm also very excited for the upcoming holiday season! I hope your autumn was as lovely as ours was!

Autumn at the Farmer's Market

I love fall at the Halifax Seaport Farmer's Market. It's fun and crowded, full of delicious, savory smells, musicians around every corner, and the all of the produce is so bright and colourful. I love going to the market all year, but I think autumn is my favourite time of year to go.

Fall Findlay Fridays

It's been way too long since I've posted Findlay photos, so here are several that I took over the past month or so. I think Findlay Bear may love fall as much as I do. He spends most of his time lately watching the leaves fall off the trees, especially when it is raining... like it is today. He has been staring out of the windows for hours. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

Fall in Nova Scotia

I absolutely love autumn. It is my favourite season, especially here in Nova Scotia. I love pumpkin everything, the crisp air, and the colourful leaves. I love it so much, I made sure Aaron and I got to have some fall engagement photos.

I took a lot of photos this year, but I have been so busy with school and with travelling to a very important wedding that I haven't been able to post as much as I would like, so I have this post and two more fall posts coming your way. I hope you have all been enjoying this season as much as I have!

Seattle!

I had the immense joy of being part of my best friend's wedding this weekend in Seattle. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding, and I could not be happier for these two incredible individuals. This was my first time in Seattle, and I absolutely loved it. I didn't get to take too many photos, as I was having too much fun with my friends. Here are a few I did manage to take. It really was the best night. Sara and Josh were both glowing with happiness.

In addition to the amazing wedding, we got to go to a lot of cool places and eat some really delicious foods while in Seattle. Some of my favourite places were:
Pike Place Market was excellent, I loved all of the flowers and the guys throwing fish
Gaudi, a Spanish restaurant with delicious paella and tapas
Stumbling Goat Bistro for a fantastic brunch (the photos of the pastries above are from the Stumbling Goat). The duck confit hash was fantastic!
Tom Douglas' Seatown Seabar and Rotisserie was another fantastic brunch spot, close to Pike Place Market
Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream was some of the best ice cream I've ever had
Fran's gray salt caramels and smoked salt caramels are beyond delicious
