Jeju bike rides
I loved living in Jeju in the spring. I loved beaches, I loved how green everything was, I loved all of the farms fields full of crops, and I loved the riot of wildflowers surrounding the island. We would always go for bike rides through the countryside to our favourite coffee places on our days off. I miss those beautiful days. Living in Korea was such an incredible experience.

Rainbow Haven and Two if By Sea
We drove over to Dartmouth to go to one of our absolute favourite coffee places, Two if By Sea. We got our coffee and scone to go and headed to Rainbow Haven Beach. It was such a beautiful day. I love just laying on the beach, listening to the ocean, and reading. It was the perfect way to spend a Friday and celebrate getting engaged!

Beach days
Sunny days in Nova Scotia are the best. We've been enjoying this long weekend immensely, but we particularly enjoyed Friday. We went to Crystal Crescent Beach, where the weather was absolutely perfect, and I even dove into the icy ocean! We laid in the sun, listened to the waves, and both ended up quite sunburned. Afterwards, we went to Dee Dee's for Mexican chocolate ice cream, which we ate at the Commons. Dee Dee's is probably the best ice cream I've ever had, so if you are ever in Nova Scotia, make sure you get a chance to try it!

Halifax Waterfront
I'm cautiously optimistic that spring has arrived in Nova Scotia. The weather was gorgeous when Aaron and I went on a walk along the Halifax Waterfront this morning. We didn't even have our jackets buttoned up! We wandered down to one of our favourite cafes, Two if By Sea, and had croissants with a latte and pour over. Breakfast dates are by far the best kind of dates. I hope this weather sticks around!

Valentine's Day
I used to really hate Valentine's Day. With a passion. When Aaron and I first started dating, Aaron was very keen on going out for a special dinner, giving me flowers and a card and whatnot, and I was not feeling it at first. But Aaron made it fun, and he made me a Valentine's Day convert. So much so that Valentine's has been a two day event this year!
On Thursday night, we went out for supper to the Stubborn Goat. It was beyond delicious: warm burrata with balsamic and greens on warm pita bread, black truffle salt fries with garlic aioli, prosciutto mac and cheese... It was super fancy, but also super casual. I loved the decor as well. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos. However, trust me, you will not be disappointed by the food or atmosphere there.
We started today by driving to Dartmouth to go to Two if By Sea, which is basically our favourite celebratory breakfast/celebratory coffee place. There were flowers on the tables, and little bouquets for sale, and delicious coffee and croissants all around. This afternoon while Aaron was at class, I made chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter cream cheese frosting and a peanut butter cup heart on top. Once Aaron gets back we're going to binge watch House of Cards. I can't think of anything better.
