Summer market days

Summertime at the Halifax Seaport Farmer's Market is a magical thing. You can have your breakfast on the incredible rooftop patio while gazing at the stunning views of the harbour, there are more and more vendors set up outside, and you can walk across the street to Garrison Brewery and enjoy their fantastic beers on the patio, rather than just inside. But my favourite part about the Market in the summer is that you are surrounded by a riot of colourful rainbow produce. And this produce can lead to you creating the most delicious summer foods, like the beautiful salad my friend Kaarina made: local micro greens and nasturtium with raspberries and sweet roasted pumpkin seeds. There is really no better place to be than Halifax in the summertime, and Saturdays mornings at the market make summer even delightful. You can read my previous posts about my love for the Halifax Seaport Farmer's Market here.
