Snow in Albuquerque
I had the immense pleasure of going home to Albuquerque during winter break. I hadn't been home in close to two years, so needless to say, I was extremely excited to return. The combination of not having lived there for five and a half years and not having visited in so long made me feel like a tourist in my hometown. It was an exceedingly weird, but also rather enjoyable experience. I'll probably write more about that experience and how it feels to be in a place that is at once both incredibly familiar and thrillingly new, but this post is dedicated to the day it snowed while I was home.
